At Howard Hindson & Son we're well known for our high quality re-upholstery service and we can restore your furniture to its former glory.

Our highly trained and experienced staff can advise you on every aspect of your project from choosing the fabric to any changes in style or design you may want. We welcome customers to our showroom and workshops at any time to inspect completed projects and work in progress.

We strip the furniture down to the frame, re-glue and cramp any loose joints, replace any damaged rails or castor blocks, replace all canvases and fillings with new fire retardant materials and then upholster the furniture with the new fabric and cushions.

All the fabrics we use on the new upholstery comply with the 1988 fire and furnishings safety act and achieve at least test 0 and test 1 in the cigarette and match test, many reaching CRIB 5 contract specification.
